halloween, park visits, galleria fish tank, and rice cereal!

last week of october, first week of november... here are the highlights:

halloween....of course.

chris and i dressed up like mario and luigi.  

  and thom got to be our little toad.

we threw a halloween party where we got dressed up, 

carved pumpkins,

 

 

  read spooky stories and poems by Poe, 

 and generally freaked each other out.

on monday halloween came and we didn't get a single trick-or-treater!  i was so disappointed.   i think trick-or-treating is a dying art.  sad...

other fun things that have happened:

thom had his first time in a baby swing at the park.  do you think he liked it?

thom also helps with the boring stuff around the house...laundry included.

and on the weekends we play,

we all go out together...

 ...and chris dreams about one day driving a car this cool.  

in general, thom is just getting really fun.  he smiles and laughs a lot now.  and he's even sleeping better!  

the trick?  a little rice cereal in his milk before bedtime.  magic!
