christmas time fun

christmas in denver was excellent.  we got a bit of cold and snow for a few days and then got to return back to our mild climate.  perfect setup, i'd say.  we loved visiting the savage family and wished we could have stayed a day or two longer.  we enjoyed ourselves playing rounds of saboteur, scrabble, talking, and enjoying time together.  steffany and kevin surprised everyone by driving up from dallas right before christmas!  a most excellent surprise.  

flying over there, thom was a doll.  he made friends with all the nice people on the plane and slept most of the way.  what a great traveler.  

he enjoyed playing at grandma and grandpa's house.  he got so much attention from grandparents and aunts and uncle.  plus, they have 2 puppies which he loved!  we don't have any pets so this was a new experience for him.  he was really curious about the dogs and was sweet with them so it was good for everyone involved.

thom got some great christmas jammies from gma and gpa savage.  they have pictures of reindeer, snowmen, penguins, and other christmas objects on them.  well i put them on thom christmas eve and christmas morning he woke me up with small grunts and general struggling sounds.  i went over to his crib and saw him trying to eat the little snowman from off his sleeve.  haha.  keep trying, kid.

christmas morning was great.  we went to church in the morning and then had a nice lunch and opened presents.  loved it.  

kaity got a snuggie and karen got some "magic wand" salt and pepper shakers.  we put them together and got ourselves a harry potter moment.  it was almost like a christmas miracle. 

oh and the best part!  thom is getting so good at scooting!  i have the cutest video of him scooting at gma and gpa savage's over christmas but stupid blogger won't let me post it...not sure why? so i'll just have to take some more video and post a new, more recent one.  :)
