5 weeks til HP6!

as most of you know, i love harry potter. if we have talked about movies within the past year you know that this harry potter 6 is the one i've been looking forward to more than anything. when they changed the release date from november 21, 2008 to july 17, 2009 i was extremely bummed. but now there are only 5 weeks til release date and i'm pumped! so you can share in my excitement, i've posted a trailer and some random trivia. enjoy!



here's some useless trivia about the 6th movie:
***anand tucker and michael hoffman were both rumored as possible directors for this film. director guillermo del toro turned down the chance to direct this film so he could work on hellboy 2: the golden army. so the director will be david yates, the same director of the harry potter and the order of the phoenix.
***this is the first harry potter film to be rated pg by the mpaa since harry potter and the prizoner of azkaban. "how can this be?" i wonder, because this book is much darker then the 4th and 5th. we'll see. i hope they don't edit too much because this book was wonderfully spooky.
***quidditch is back! it makes a return in this film, after being completely absent since the fourth installment. yahoo.
***the man who played the 16-year-old tom marvolo riddle in harry potter and the chamber of secrets was rumored to be reprising his role for this film, but at the age of 30, it was decided that he was too old for the part. instead, hero fiennes-tiffin , the nephew of ralph fiennes (who plays voldemort/tom riddle as an adult) will play the part.
***robert knox, who plays marcus belby, was tragically stabbed to death on May 24, 2008, just days after filming wrapped.

ps-anyone going to be in houston on the 17th? we can hit up the midnight showing. dressing up is definately an option. i call bellatrix lestrange.
