demeanor: curious, somewhat serious, and very mild-tempered. he's a great eater and sleeper and rarely cries (unless he has a gas bubble). when he's awake he looks around curiously and scrunches up his eyebrows at people to make thoughtful/somber faces. i think it's adorable.

anyway... thom, chris and i are all doing really well. the birth was long and taxing (of course i'll write the whole story later) and i've been sore and tired but chris and my mom and i are tag-teaming it to try to meet all of little thom's needs (and keep ourselves sane too!).
i am completely smitten with this little boy. i keep thinking to myself, "he is so sweet/handsome/beautiful/perfect!" last night before i fell asleep i looked over at chris and said, "i feel like the luckiest woman on earth right now." and it's true. it feels like everything is right with the world. i am completely content. looooove.
